Seit 2007 hat sich diese Fortbildung zu einem Setting entwickelt, in dem wir fortlaufend klären, was für uns die technischen Grundlagen der Contact Improvisation sind. Was steckt dahinter, wenn wir uns als verbunden erleben – vom Zentrum zur Peripherie aber auch in Bezug auf die tanzende Umgebung? Es ist eine Kernfrage jeglicher Tanztechnik, zuallererst auf körperlicher Ebene aber auch darüber hinaus.
Frühkindliche Bewegungsmuster haben sich für uns zu einem systematisch-hilfreichen roten Faden entwickelt, da sie mühelose und kraftvolle Wege eröffnen für den eigenen Tanz und auch für all die gewichts-intensiven Situationen in der CI. Über die Jahre hat uns weiteres Wissen aus somatischen Praktiken inspiriert. Insbesondere die dreidimensionale, stützende Eleastizität des Fasziennetzwerks und verschiedene Teile des Nervensystems, das unsere Präsenz und Verfügbarkeit reguliert.
Wir haben viel detailliertes Material entwickelt zum Erforschen der wesentlichen Prinzipien, die ein Contact Duett leicht und geschmeidig durch alle Ebenen fliessen lässt – vom Boden zu Hebungen und Sprüngen. Wir untersuchen die üblichsten CI spezifischen Situationen, suchen nach mehr Klarheit, nach Herausforderungen und überraschenden neuen Möglichkeiten im vermeintlich Vertrauten.
Fokussierte, offenere Formate zum Tanzen erlauben die Integration der technischen Informationen ins eigene Bewegungsrepertoire. In diesen Räumen lebt zugleich die Frage, was eine Jam braucht um zu mehr als einer Ansammlung von Duets zu werden, ein Ort, wo wir als Gruppe die Verbundenheit des Ganzen erleben und dabei angebunden bleiben an unsere individuellen Berdürfnisse und Neugierden.
Uns interessiert zunehmend, welchen Beitrag unsere gemeinsame somatische Praxis leisten kann, sowohl für unsere individuellen Leben als auch für unsere Gesellschaft, in einer Welt, die im extremen Wandel begriffen ist.
Ein halbes Jahr regelmässige CI Praxis hat sich als gutes Minimum zur Teilnahme an der Fortbildung erwiesen.
Unterrichtssprache ist deutsch, und englisch bei Bedarf.

Zusätzlich: 7.1.24, Tagesworkshop mit Jörg in Kassel, kann gerne auch zum Kennenlernen unserer Arbeit genutzt werden.

Training Program Contact Improvisation

Since 2007 this Programme became the setting, where we continuously evaluate the technical foundation of contact Improvisation as we understand and experience it. What is it that makes us feel connected – wihin ourselves and with the people we dance with? We see this as a core question for any dance technique, first of all on the physical but also on an energetic level.
Developmental movement patterns have become our experiental narrative for this, including the research of anatomical core structures like bones, joints and muscles. They offer effortless and powerful ways to move alone and together within all the weight baring situations of a CI duet.
Over the years more knowledge of somatic practices have inspired us -especially the connectivity and elasticity of fascia system – and different parts of the nervous system, that influence our state of readiness and availability.
We developed a lot of partner material to explore the main priciples, which enable a CI duet to move smoothly and easefully through all spacial levels, from the floor to lifts and jumps. We’ll research the most common CI specific situations, finding precision, new details & clarity, challenges and surprisingly new options in the supposedly known.
Focussed, open frames for dancing will give space to allow the technical information to become more integrated. In these spaces we can explore, what Jams need so that they can grow beyond a collection of CI duets. A Jam’s potential is to become a space, where we connect together as a whole while being deeply in touch with our individual needs and curiosities.
We are wondering more and more, which offer our common somatic practice can provide for our individual lives but also for our society, in a world that is facing dramatic changes.
Six month of regular CI practice is a good minimum to participate in this programme.
The teaching languages are german and english.
